Ken was short-staffed today so he made the visit himself. He requested the analytics data and made sure he reviewed it immediately. I was provided two windows of time when the phone system troubleshooting and restoration could be accomplished. He went right to work and within an hour, I had a functioning phone system once again. Even though the POE Ethernet switch that he had with him to replace my failed one lacked a few ports, he used it to get us up and running, then ran to his office, and returned with an alternative that was considerably better than the one replaced. I will contact Ken and his company for future tech support needs.

Ken was fantastic. We had 3 separate routers, and several switches in a nest of wires almost a decade old. All of our point of sale systems, printers, sound system, security cameras etc were connected to those routers. He was able to organize everything. He connected with our point of sale company to make sure they had everything properly updated. It was several days of work. He answered the phone at 9pm to troubleshoot one particular strangling issue. Because we are a restaurant it’s particularly difficult to find someone that is responsive outside of the normal 9-5. I cannot recommend this company more highly!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I stand by my stated pricing, while other providers list a low price and then often quote higher !

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Certified across multiple platforms and an official partner. I’ve spent 25 years embedded in the IT world, working with multiple managed services providers across hundreds of clients, as well as over a dozen government agency contracts. I sought out as many unique environments as possible, to broaden my experience and knowledge.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Know what you’re paying in advance. Whether hourly or a project rate, this industry is known for surprise fees and runaway costs. The provider you work with should agree in writing to the rate advertised on thumbtack, and project quotes should clearly state the scope and costs involved. If a project is quoted fixed rate and takes us much longer to complete than expected, that’s our problem, not yours. It’s only with price transparency and guarantees that we can build a lifetime of trust with our clients. Even if you choose another provider, make sure you’re not taken advantage of!
