I stand by my stated pricing, while other providers list a low price and then often quote higher !
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified across multiple platforms and an official partner. I’ve spent 25 years embedded in the IT world, working with multiple managed services providers across hundreds of clients, as well as over a dozen government agency contracts. I sought out as many unique environments as possible, to broaden my experience and knowledge.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know what you’re paying in advance. Whether hourly or a project rate, this industry is known for surprise fees and runaway costs. The provider you work with should agree in writing to the rate advertised on thumbtack, and project quotes should clearly state the scope and costs involved. If a project is quoted fixed rate and takes us much longer to complete than expected, that’s our problem, not yours. It’s only with price transparency and guarantees that we can build a lifetime of trust with our clients. Even if you choose another provider, make sure you’re not taken advantage of!
