About
I really do take the time to communicate with my students and observe how they work in their own math environment. I prefer to talk with each student and find our what their perceptions are about their coursework, the class instructor, assignments and exams, and what the they perceive as weaknesses and strengths.
Over several sessions I observe problem solving patterns, study behaviors, and overall comprehension of each student. Through communication and observation I'm able to make suggestions for the the best approach to take to improve grades and to help my students improve their study habits.

Rachel is a great tutor!...she responded on very short notice this summer to assist my son trying to complete a math course required for his bachelor's degree after an extended illness...the time frame was limited to catch up and the odds of him passing the tests and completion on time were not in his favor. With Rachel's help he was able to pass and complete what was necessary. I am now the proud mother of a U of A graduate!🎓😁 Thanks again Rachel...you were heaven sent!

Our daughter was not motivated to do her Algebra 1 work without a teacher. Miss Wilhite even agreed to do the homework so they can compare how they got the results. Miss Wilhite shares her passion for math with her students.

Rachel is wonderful! She is very patient, and definitely is gifted. For this mom, Shes actually my sanity! My daughter laughs more often, and there are no more melt downs. Last test was an A. Rachel wants her students to succeed, we are very happy we chose her. Thank you Rachel. 🌺
