Why should you choose Ritu Desai? - Ritu is extremely skilled in her profession and knows the in and out of selling or purchasing a home. During 2018 Christmas holidays, we interviewed multiple realtors and chose Ritu Desai. She was on-time, energetic, understood our requirements, always available (even during her international trip), knew the locality in and out, knew the school background, rezoning details, locality and people in the community details, knew which area was kid-friendly, and was extremely patient with us. We sold our townhome and purchased a Single-family Home (SFM) with the help of Ritu.Our experience selling our townhome with Ritu - Once we agreed to work with her, she came in immediately to walk-through the townhome to tell us how we can redo a little things to stage the house. Her ideas were fantastic. She did bring in a stager to help us with ideas too but advised us on where to spend and where not to waste money. She was pretty confident from day 1 on selling our townhome pretty easily. That gave us immense confidence in her. And, to reinstate our confidence, she was able to get an offer for our townhome in one weekend. I still remember her call at around 8 PM on a Sunday saying "Congratulations, we have an offer on your townhome". We were in a scenario where we had to rent back from our townhome buyers since we didn't have a house to move to after the closing. With her exceptional negotiation skills, we were able to rent back from the buyers at a very decent rent and avoid the double-move. She was very proactive up until the handover.Our experience buying a SFM with Ritu - We started looking for a SFM with our current townhome sold and the market low on SFM inventory. With the inventory that was available, we either didn't like the house, schools, or the community. We were getting a little worried but Ritu was extremely patient in showing us the houses and not hurrying us. There were scenarios where she pulled in houses that came to the market for sale last year and that was not sold and contacted the owners and requested them for us to see the house. She went above and beyond. She was extremely knowledgeable and open in telling us the positives and negatives of each house was saw. Since she has school-going kids, she was extremely knowledgeable about schools which was very important to us. She also has amazing references to handyman, roofing company, and anybody you want. We were able to find a SFM of your choice before our rent-back period ended. ? If you are looking for a peaceful, and hassle-free buying/selling experience, contact Ritu Desai. Ritu is a very professional and extremely knowledgeable agent and absolutely top-notch! We live in another state and Ritu made the process of home selling, pre-Marketing, listing and ultimately closing on my Herndon house very easy even through the pandemic times and through late fall! I had to fly in just once for vacating the tenants and clean up. She took care of everything else. She will wow you with her introductory presentation, filled with current facts and statistics about all phases of the process for buying or selling. Right from day one, she didnt rest.. comps were presented, pre-marketing plans were done meticulously and wasted no time to market. No sooner had we listed with Ritu than we had an excellent offer from a bunch of motivated buyers! The sale process was fast and efficient. Ritu kept me informed during the whole process. Timing couldnt have been any better! Shes a hustler and very hard working and did everything she could to get us a GREAT offer on our home way over the asking. Ritu is a pandemic time proven agent! She is the ABSOLUTE BEST agent and saved us from getting lost in this unprecedented market. Early 2020, we listed with Ritu and went under a contract in 3 days but the contract fell through once all the gloomy news started pouring out on TV. Then the market changed and it changed A LOT. She stuck with us and guided us through this unpredictable time to sell our house. She evaluated buyers carefully and helped us to find the serious buyers among so many who were just poking around with low ball offers. MOST IMPORTANTLY, she fought against the disappointing appraisal for us and made the sale happened. She argued with the appraisal company and the lender and then submitted her own in-depth market comparison and successfully persuaded them to re-evaluate the original appraisal. She kept us posted with any questions from the buyers in time and suggested the best and most efficient way to address them to keep the buyers happy and feel confident about their purchase, too. She is very experienced as both sellers and buyers agent and knowledgeable to understand how either party thinks. She proactively found any changes or progress out herself and kept us posted if the buyers agent didnt. We have hired 4 different realtors after moved to Virginia for almost 20 years and she is the ABSOLUTE BEST. She has great network of contractors and we ended up hiring more of her people than the ones we researched to renovate the house for the sale because they offered the better value. It was a tough journey but we feel blessed that we had Ritu. Thank you very much, Ritu!!!

We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Ritu Desai. We met her over 14 years ago when we were looking to become homeowners for the first time. Ever since, we have used her service numerous of times throughout the years, to buy and sell our homes. The process of buying and selling a home can be very stressful, time consuming as many of us have experienced at some point. Having Ritu by our side, made the process seamless.-Purchased as a 1st time homebuyer in Manassas, VA. (In 2007)-Sold a house.
