I'm a passionate coach with over 10 years of experience working with people one-on-one, 9 years of teaching public speaking, improv, and acting at the University of Virginia, and over 15,000 hours of experience in public speaking and theatrical performances. I love working with people from all fields on public speaking; specifically how they tell their story. I speak to groups frequently on the subjects of storytelling, public speaking, and executive presence. I'm a past speaker for Tedx Charlottesville and a current Tedx speaker coach. I emceed the 2nd annual DisruptHR and recent audiences and clients include the Women in Internal Medicine Network, the Global Pathfinders Summit, and the Darden School of Business at UVA. I toured my one-woman show, Dirty Barbie and other Girlhood Tales, at Assembly Hall at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, at 59E59 in New York City, The Corner Store in Washington, DC, and the Diana Wortham Theatre in Asheville, NC, among other venues. I have an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Virginia, a Certificate in Nutrition from Cornell University and I'm currently a Lecturer in UVA’s Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy.
Whether you are looking for coaching on a specific upcoming presentation or on your overall presence and public speaking skills, I'd love to chat with you about possibly working together!
