FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is done per square foot. Depending on the service needed, for example Installs, refinishing, screen & coat or repairs will all be priced differently. Any custom work will be estimated on site and determined by size of project, layout and degree of labor intensity/difficulty. We aim to provide a fair cost for our clients and are able to do so because our work speaks for itself. We don't need to advertise like those big flooring companies because our work speaks for itself and in turn the client saves quite a bit by going with 804 Floors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will respond to a client via Thumbtack with our initial quote and introduction. The client will then either call or email us directly to set up a free in home estimate. We will bring the showroom to the client by providing a 30-60 Minute in home estimate with a complimentary color/stain consultation. During this consultation, we will meet with the client, discuss their specific flooring options, we will laser measure the space and provide an estimate or guaranteed pricing to complete the work right their on the spot! The client will then have the opportunity to book their project then and there, which will secure their start date or may take up to 30 days to contact us back (with guaranteed pricing for 30 days) when they are ready to book their project. When a client is ready to book they will provide a deposit for materials (approximately half, this deposit is what reserves their project start date on our calendar.) We will arrive to complete the clients project on that date and the remainder of the contract will be due at completion of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 25 years of experience in the flooring industry and have been trained in the latest flooring techniques. We are fully licensed, insured, and bonded. All of our staff are background checked, drug tested and trained by the National Wood Flooring Association. We are also a Family owned and operated 5 Star Rated Company, that gives back to the community.
