My name is Sharon Jones and I am the owner and operator of Shay Tails. I have recently started this business in 2021, but my passion of caring for pets goes back to childhood. Through course study, I have received a veterinarian assistant certificate, which has helped me understand the intricacies of animals. I have always had a love for four-legged friends and the joy that they bring. As the saying goes, as long as you are doing something you love, you'll never work a day in your life!

ShayTails was by far my best experience ever!! This was my first time using a pet sitter. She was amazing. Her vibe was immaculate ❤️ she was amazing with my fur babies. For starters she was prompt with responding. She answered every question. She treated my babies like her own. She is highly recommended 🙏🏼

I cannot recommend Shay Tails highly enough! From the moment we first met, it was clear that Shay is a true animal lover with a genuine passion for caring for dogs. Shay has been walking and sitting for our poodle boy, Apollo, and our Goldendoodle babies for the past couple of weeks and we have been consistently impressed with the level of care and professionalism provided.
Shay is incredibly reliable and always punctual. Whether it's a scheduled walk or an extended dog sitting service, we know we can count on Shay to be there for Apollo. It's such a relief to have someone we trust completely with our furry family members.
What really sets Shay apart is the personal touch and attention to detail. Shay takes the time to get to know Apollo's unique personality, preferences, and needs. Apollo can be a bit anxious around new people, but Shay's calm and friendly demeanor put him at ease right away. Shay also sends us regular updates and photos, so we always know Apollo and babies are happy and well taken care of.
In addition to being a wonderful caregiver, Shay is also knowledgeable about dog behavior and health. Shay offers helpful tips and advice, which have been invaluable in managing Apollo's energy levels and dietary needs.

ShayTails has been a wonderful find! Shay was punctual, professional, friendly and so loving to my cat. Shay happily spent 1/2 hr each morning out on our porch, talking to my fur baby & brushing 😻 him, taking pictures and texting with me if there were questions. She was thorough & tidy with cat chores as well. Shay’s a kind and attentive person, and therefore my cat enjoyed their time together, so I enjoyed my time away. I think Shay’s care & love for animals is evident I will definitely be hiring Shay again when I travel
