- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We base the pricing on the size of the move, the number of stairs, and the distance of the move. These factors determine the labor and the costs of the job itself. Pricing is also based on the size truck needed and the amount of work requested for particular job. For instance some customers want packing, unpacking, disassembly, reassembly on top of usual load and unload duties.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer an estimate by phone which most busy customers prefer. When we know the size of the move, number of stairs and distance to new location, we can give a good estimate of the amount of time. The size of the job also determines the number of guys needed which is what the job is based on. It also helps us to determine the size truck to use and materials needed to complete the job professionally.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of handling furniture with a "white glove" delivery service. We have handled the most expensive high end pieces and continue to handle customer's household items the same way. We are proud of our reputation of caring for what we move.
