I can't say enough about Tawanda and her expertise! I came to her with a MESS consisting of years of unfiled taxes...just UGLY and downright shameful. No judgments, just with the most professional hand Tawanda told me what needed to be done, how, and what to expect every step of the way. I asked lots of questions, and although we had some laughs she never made me feel like the financial doofus that I had been. I have learned a great deal working with her the past two years and will continue to have her work on all things in my personal and small business tax and accounting needs. She is a MASTER at what she does, and she actually loves doing taxes and accounting! On top of all that, she is a great person, and applies kindness even as she is keeping it all the way 100.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have flat rate prices based on the client's needs and wants. I have monthly packages for monthly services such as bookkeeping or coaching/consulting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer an initial consultation to discuss the client's needs. I provide pricing based on their needs. An engagement letter is signed, payment received, and work on the project begins.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am required to complete 72 hours of continuing education every three years. I complete at least 30 per year. I have a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a master's degree in Taxation. I am also a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute. I am a licensed Enrolled Agent. I am licensed to assist taxpayers in all 50 states.
