- How did you get started doing this type of work?
With the birth of my daughter I realized I wanted to capture every precious moment and milestone in her life. Her tiny fingers and toes, the way her nose wrinkles when she laughs, the way her hair curls when it gets wet and the small pink birthmark on her arm. I want to forever remember the happiness I felt the first time she looked up at me, smiling in her sleep, her first steps and the first bite of birthday cake. Memories fade but with my photographs I can relive the joy I felt in those moments again and again.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I love photographing children, they are light, love and beauty in one tiny package. They look at the world with wonder and imagination, the possibilities are endless. I love to capture their budding personalities in a fun creative way.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
If you fall asleep while eating your lunch you might become the subject of an impromptu photo shoot. Photographs don't always have to be the result of days of planning. Sometimes a little light coming through the kitchen window, a white chair and a hair bow is all you need. Babies are so beautiful just the way they are, especially when they're sleeping.
