- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We only have a few costs, each of which is clearly defined on Estimates and Invoices. We also have a Pricing & Policy Guide available for clients upon request. Examples: Hourly Labor, Mileage, Heavy Item Fees, Supplies, Rentals. We also occasionally run promotions that carry great discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each client typically has unique needs- almost no two moves are alike. We use Thumbtack to fill holes in our schedule so we try to be as up-front about our scheduling as possible, and ask that our potential clients (or not) keep us informed on their hiring decisions quickly. We also try to discuss the move and all pricing and transport details as in-depth as possible to let our clients know we're actually listening, and to avoid any surprises along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read as many blogs and articles from other movers and consumer reports as I can. There is a lot of information out there, so even after many years in the game... anything we can learn and apply is always useful to us, and our clients.
