FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer free estimates with no obligation. Every electrical job is different, so I prefer to visit your property, introduce myself, and assess the work in person. This allows me to give you an accurate, upfront price rather than a rough guess over the phone. You'll know exactly what the job will cost before we start—no hidden fees or surprises. We accept all major credit cards for your convenience. Once you approve the estimate, we'll schedule a time that works for you to complete the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is simple: First, we discuss your needs over the phone and schedule a convenient time to visit. When we arrive, we thoroughly assess the situation—not just the immediate problem, but any potential safety concerns. We then provide upfront, transparent pricing and explain exactly what needs to be done and why. Once you approve, we complete the work efficiently while treating your home with respect. Before we leave, we do a final walkthrough to ensure you're completely satisfied. Throughout the entire process, we keep you informed and answer any questions. We're always available after the job if anything comes up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We hold a Master Electrician License and Virginia Class A Contractor License—the highest credentials available in our field. These licenses require years of training, thousands of hours of hands-on experience, and passing comprehensive state exams. We're also fully insured to protect our customers and our team. We maintain our licenses through ongoing education, ensuring we stay current with code changes and new electrical technologies. When you hire VP Services, you're getting properly trained, licensed, and insured professionals.
