- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate for a 30 minute in home lesson is $40. I offer on-line lessons for $35/ half hour via Zoom and Facetime - contact me if you are interested in them, and I will tell you, how to set it up and all the benefits you get out of Virtual Lesson. All ages, all levels and all types of music are welcome.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano since I was 12 years old, went to Seoul Music and Art high school in which I was trained to be a professional piano player and learned many piano techniques there. I got 2 Master Degrees in Piano Performance, one from Ehwa University in Seoul Korea and another in Music Education from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. I have played (still play) lots of recitals and Master Classes. I have taught piano since my college years at Ehwa University. I have posted over 200 piano teaching videos on YouTube under the title of “Learn Piano with Cecilia Oh”. I proudly say piano teaching is my life and I am very good at it. Teach all ages, all levels and all types of music are welcome. Studio is located in Fairfax, Virginia 22030.
