I cannot get over how amazing my weddingphotos are! Cameron is the absolute best! My husband and I were going to forgo professional photos for the wedding. All the quotes we received were around $4-6K and really didn't seem worth it given all the iPhone photos people would take, etc.. Ultimately and pretty last minute, I caved and started looking for options and found Cameron on Thumbtack. While not cheap, he offers packages that make sense and fit your budget. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Cameron was extremely professional and we can't get over how amazing all the photos he took are. If you want beautiful weddings, I recommend using Cameron!

Cameron did a fantastic job shooting our rehearsal dinner. He was prompt in responding to our request via Thumbtack and did a great job of explaining his services and rates. After the initial deposit, Cameron helped us come up with a shot list of types of people we would want captured while at the dinner.
The day of the shoot Cameron was at the venue early and relaxed even though we weren't on site ontime (traffic was awful!)
He made himself comfortable with our guests and started by taking shots of the decor. Throughout his coverage of the event, he was constantly reminding us of who we still needed to hit on our shot list to make sure we weren't losing track.
After the event, he was similarly professional in invoicing and delivery of the photos. He used a simple photosharing zip drive and we had our pictures less than a week after the event.
I'd recommend Cameron for anyone who wants to support professionals who live and work in the D/M/V and are passionate about photography.

We loved working with Cameron! We had a pretty last-minute wedding with a venue change midway through the day and needed him to do both photo and video - so a bit chaotic - and he was very flexible and did a great job! Talked us through things ahead of time, caught our important moments on tape and edited a lovely video using our vows, and took really nice pictures at our afterparty as well (staged and candid). Professional but also laid-back, made us both feel really comfortable! Highly recommend.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start off by talking with the customer. For me it's important to establish a line of communication that lets them know I'm approachable, and allows them to tell me as much as they want about their project.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off doing photography & videography as a hobby, it's always been one of my biggest passions. I taught myself almost everything I know, and for things I couldn't learn on my own I mentored under other professionals.
