My desktop completely died on me, wouldn’t turn on at all, no lights, nothing. I had about 3 years worth of work files on there including some stuff I hadn’t backed up, so I was genuinely stressed about it. Found Jaweed through a recommendation and contacted him that evening. He responded within the hour which I didn’t expect.
He came over the next morning, opened it up and after about 45 minutes diagnosed it as a failed power supply that had also damaged the motherboard when it went. He was straight with me, told me upfront it wasn’t a cheap fix and gave me the option to either repair it or recover the data and move on. I appreciated that he didn’t just go ahead and start ordering parts.
I chose to repair it. He sourced the parts himself, came back two days later and spent around 3 hours getting everything back up and running. Every single file was intact. Total came to $175, which was $110 for parts and $65 for labor. Compared to what a big box store would have charged me that was very reasonable.
That was about 2 months ago. Machine has been running without a single issue since. If anything goes wrong with my tech again he’s the first person I’m calling.
