All staff have been Vaccinated and will follow guide lines to keep ourselves and our customers safe. This business was started out of my love for working with my hands. I have two kids ages 12 and 4 this business model allows me to control my time so that I can enjoy as much of this precious time with them.

Wesley did an excellent job repairing my old deck. He removed rotten panels and replaced with new panels. Then he painted all the deck twice. He also fixed the shed door and it looks like a new door now. He began to work Thrusday and planned to finish Sunday. But there was a forecast that there will be snow Sunday. Therefore, he changed his schedule and came Friday and Saturday and finished the painting before the snow. He went extra miles to take care of my deck and plus fixed my shed door and roof panel and all other small items with reasonable prices. I will hire him again if have another project.

First thing to know is I write reviews only for superior, excellent service. I’ve written maybe two in my life. I would give The Heartily Handyman 10 stars if I could. I have worked in real estate in Northern Virginia for over 20 years and have come in contact with literally hundreds of contractors. What impressed me so much about Wesley: 1. Work Ethic: he was available when I needed him and he rescheduled things to help me. I was raised by a Midwestern family who taught “work hard and the money will come”. Those who want the business are the people you want to have help you. 2. I felt extremely comfortable and safe with this company, to the point of leaving him alone in my home. That’s a priceless feeling. 3. They operate on principles of integrity and service. He came when he said he would, he completed the job when he said he would, and he charged the price that he said he would. I ended up giving him a little extra because I thought his work was extraordinary. 4. I had a complicated electrical job and they have many contractors who work in conjunction with them. The Heartily Handyman is a one-stop shop. That is also priceless, in my opinion. If you’re looking for someone to help you in projects big and small, go no further. In 20 years I’ve come in contact with pretty much every company in the Northern Virginia DC Maryland area and I can tell you that this one is the best. We hired Wesley to hang some pendant lights we received for our wedding and had been sitting around our condo for months. He was very responsive during initial conversations and came prepared with a game plan. Wesley was also very nice and good humored about the installation. He also made sure everything was done correctly before leaving. We would use Wesley again in a heartbeat.
