Had a rattle sound in duct. Guy who booked the appointment by phone got it all wrong in app and after a long back and forth got the right day and time. Was an hour late. They started troubleshooting right away. They spent a while trying to figure it out. In the begining I asked "how much is this going to cost". Dude responded "oh you know it's an inspection. So inspection." I said "ok so it's just and inspection?" He said "yes inspection". They're current listing says no cost estimate so I said "oh so this is all included" "he said yes in first inspection no problem". I guess English was a second language because as they left he handed me a $99 bill for inspection....I said "I would have like to have know this was going to cost me $100 before we got going" he didn't have much to say other than "is inspection". I chalked it up to a language barrier. Issue came back so I reached out in app again and said "I want to discuss costs up front". Guy said "it'll be the cost of an inspection". I said "you want me to pay $100 again for the same issue" he said "no inspection is free". We went back and forth a few more times and then I just went with Tom's duct work that was just much easier, thorough, and straight up in price. I left this long review because I think people should know the inspection cost up front because clearly they are not conveying it correctly.
