About
My work is modern, adhering to the standards of today's professionals, but remains timeless. No couple will look at their wedding images with regret regarding style, technique or editing. I love the people I meet and the amazing moments I capture. I am touched by every first dance, father daughter dance and kind speech. While photographing I often find myself shedding some happy tears in the corner while the most special moments occur.

We used Danielle for our engagement photos at the Monuments in DC this fall. I was a nervous going in, as my fiance was not thrilled about getting pictures taken; however, it ended up being a fun experience for him, as she made us both feel comfortable and relaxed. The quality of the photos was great. We love them and have received many compliments from our family and friends. The only difficult part of our experience with Danielle was trying to pick out which photo to use for our save the dates, because there were so many awesome shots! Danielle was very professional, and always easy to get ahold of. I really appreciated that she offered to look over examples of the types of photos we were looking for. She was flexible, as she rescheduled our session due to weather, agreed to meet us at sunrise to avoid crowds, and even Photoshopped a rogue piece of my hair in one of our photos, so I could use it for our print. We definitely had a positive experience, and highly recommend Danielle! Thanks again :)

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I take courses to learn new editing techniques monthly. I attend seminars every few months to learn more about lighting and to try new equipment. I attend a large conference once a year to meet other professionals, attend classes and see what new technology has been created to better serve my clients.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I most often photograph weddings and engagements.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please take your time and get to know your photographer! I spend all day with my clients. I want to get along with them. Choose a professional that has an amazing portfolio and fits within your budget, but most importantly, one that you like and trust. Personality is important while the photographer is by your side during one of the most beautiful and most stressful days of your life.
