We hired him to transform an inaccessible dead space behind our HVAC into a functional storage area, and he did an excellent job. He handled everything from installing the door to the electrical work (adding lighting and a socket). The quality of work is exactly the same as the big companies with 'fancy quotes,' but he is much more affordable. You may need to negotiate a little to settle on the right price, but the savings are worth it. The total cost was $1,100 (which included $300 for materials that he picked up himself). He even did a thorough cleanup afterward. Highly recommended for quality work on a budget!

However, I indicated in the description that I had two items that needed assembled but when he arrived he thought that I needed one item, which put me in a limited position to negotiate a price. Just make sure you settle on a price and the number of jobs to complete. Overall, Cortez has great work ethic.
