I was moving from Columbus to Cleveland and this is considered to be a long distance move. These guys handled everything rather good. The price was adequate as well. They wrapped all my furniture with special blankets so it all arrived to Cleveland undamaged. They were also prompt and respectful. They said they do long distance moves all the time and I truly believe they do.

Columbus Movers may not have known it, but they didn't just help me move. They made one of the most difficult days of my life a little easier.
Sure - they were responsive, punctual, upfront, concise, polite, and no-nonsense at all times. They even showed up a little early. And I was in constant contact with both the driver and the operator. All qualities you'd expect in true professionals.
In the middle of my move, I learned that my mother had been in a terrible car accident. I was stuck. I couldn't go anywhere. My stuff was all on a truck - I couldn't leave until the move was done. I was frustrated and beside myself. The movers were incredibly understanding and professional despite my mental state at the time. They worked hard and as fast as they could to move things forward. They took excellent care of my stuff. And the final price was incredibly reasonable despite the fact that the move took a bit longer than I expected (I personally tend to estimate on the low side). There was no haggling. And the cash discount was MUCH appreciated.
It was a really, really rough day - but it could have been so much worse. I'd recommend Columbus to anyone.

The two men that moved us (Shawn & Tim) were very professional. They kept me updated as to their arrival time. They were also extremely careful with our furniture and avoided bumping & gouging walls. We had no damage done to the furniture and no damage to walls - not even scuff marks. I will hire this company for our next move.
