Introduction: Replicating natural elements with paint is called faux painting. The old masters developed techniques to replicate wood, marble, limestone, plaster, tortoise shells, and more. With the development of new materials today, it can now be virtually applied to any surface with a purpose to personalize and decorate your surroundings.
