Positive --Our finished slate porch/steps is absolutely beautiful! Elmer arrived on time for initial appointment; found us perfectly coordinating stone; and scheduled/completed the work zippy fast. His professional crew worked tirelessly on hot and humid days. Negative -- on the day the work started, Elmer decided that we would be responsible for charges over and above the accepted bid (the cost of concrete needed to level the steps). The need for this material was apparent at the time he presented the non-itemized bid; the extra charge was a surprise.
