About
I teach piano at all levels and all age groups. I have a Master of Music in Piano Performance from George Mason University and also studied privately at Peabody Institute. I performed in many local venues including the Kennedy Center and the French Embassy in Washington, DC. Teaching music is my passion and always tailor each lesson with the needs, personalities, and sensitivities of students. I am in Falls Church, near the Seventh Corner.

Ms Hiroko is the best! She's a great teacher who provides support and encouragement along the journey from learning to read music to preparing to perform a piece at a recital. She is also extremely flexible with scheduling which I super appreciate! She's passionate about music and helping others who share that interest. I've learned so much over the past 7 or so months since starting my lessons, and continue to grow in skill as I continue that process. One other thing I enjoyed: she is very open to teaching you whatever genre of music you prefer - whether classical or modern rock/pop. She's also just a friendly and enjoyable person in general to bring into your life - which is just a bonus to her advanced musical talent and teaching abilities. I would recommend Ms Hiroko to anyone interested in learning to play the piano, or improve upon their current skill level!

My son has been enjoying his piano lessons with Hiroko tremendously. Hiroko is a professional pianist with impressive training. It was so nice to see my son not only becoming very interested in playing piano, but also making big progress. I am also impressed by the patience and understanding she has demonstrated towards kids of every age. I highly recommend Hiroko and Lezhnev Piano Studio.

My son has been taking lessons with Mrs Hiroko Lezhnev and enjoys her lessons. She is very passionate in her training and has a depth of knowledge. She is able to modify the lesson plans based on his interest which encourages him to try different things while keeping the fundamentals of music in mind. She is very encouraging and makes sure he understands the concepts well which helps him to progress in his lessons. Mrs H came highly recommended by one of her peers that we decided to drive up a hour each way to get to her lessons. Thank you for loving music and sharing it with him.
