I have taught high school History and Social Studies for over twenty years, served as History Department Chair at Edmund Burke School in Washington, DC and Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, MD, and hold a Master's degree in U.S. Diplomatic History from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science (International Relations) from Columbia University in the City of New York (an Ivy League institution.) I have also taken significant professional development coursework to constantly improve my teaching and administrative capabilities. In the United States Navy, I served as an Intelligence Specialist in the U.S. Naval Reserve Intelligence Program and was decorated for duties performed following 9/11.
