I had a DC jack malfunction on my laptop and when I put the request out for help, Dan at Camden Webworks responded in less than one hour with a very reasonable price to fix it and a quick turnaround time. It should also be noted that my request was on the Saturday before Christmas week and he still didn't flinch at ordering the part and having it fixed with haste - a stark contrast to the other people I found on Google who charged more than twice as much and provided no hope as to having it fixed in any sort of reasonable time line (ie before Christmas). Thanks Camden Webworks and Thumbtack for such a solid first experience!

My experience with Dan Hanson at Camden Webworks was nothing short of outstanding. He helped me with a custom desktop build I was struggling with, as I couldn't get it to POST/BIOS. It took him less than a day to figure it out, and he installed all relevant software and drivers for me. He is clearly an expert with computers, and I had a great time talking to him about hardware, software, etc. He is exceptionally nice and professional. His store is very nice as well. I can't think of anything that could have gone better.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a computer geek for a long as I can remember. I spent my early years programming BASIC and playing with the family IBM that was in the basement. It provided a very solid framework to build a career out of this profession, because as I continued to "grow up" I continued to experiment and play with technology.
What types of customers have you worked with?
A good share of the computers that come through the shop have malware/adware/virus issues. Second in line, I suppose, would be computers that don't fully make it into Windows anymore, for one reason or another.
