SUMMARY: Oswar & Joanna Torres did an outstanding and professional job in tiling the floor, and installing the new baseboards in my guest house. He works until it's all done correctly. He shows up on time, with a nice smile and attitude, is diligent in the detail of his work, and was very refreshing to work with. BOTTOM LINE: If you hire them, you will not be disappointed. DETAIL: I'm a property manager and constantly deal with handyman, contractors, Etc for different projects around my properties. I dredge having to hire workers for new projects, as I find that they either: don't understand the scope of the work needed, don't care about doing the work properly, don't show up on time, want to be paid before it's complete, or an unlimited list of problems that occur. This was not the case with them. Their family is from the military, and they have a strong work ethic, and have a drive to get my project done correctly. I first worked with Joanna to describe the work that needed to be completed, then we ironed out the details, and negotiated the contract. She is a great communicator, that made sure that she understood what my needs were, and that we were on the same page. I can't tell you how important this is. I can't tell you how important this is. It's much to my chagrin that sometimes a relationship with a contractor might go south because of a misunderstanding. She really worked to help make sure that did not happen. Oswar Spoke with his wife, Joanna, took the project from there. We met at the tile supply store, purchased the materials that we could get there, and he purchased the rest of the items directly from Home Depot. I have a tenant that lives in the house where the tile was installed. This caused some delays as Oswar had to work around someone living in the house he was doing the work in. He never complained, always showed up on time, with a positive attitude, did a great job, and worked till the job was complete. Since Covid, it's hard to find workers that genuinely are there to serve the people that hire them, but the Torres's are what we always experienced prior to covid. They're the diamond in the rough you are looking for. If you have a project, within the purview of his skills, hire him. You won't be disappointed in them.

He did pretty good tile job. I would rate at a 7 out of 10. Some of his carpentry work was ok but he got sloppy with carpentry work and half asses alot of his cuts. Required alot of caulking to make acceptable.
