FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system depends on the type of work that is desired. If I am hired to host/MC an event, that's one price and if I am hired to headline, that's another. There are also additional costs that are involved if the client is requesting musicians. If you're interested in a duo or trio, that's one price and if your interested in a small ensemble, that's another.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the new customer to ascertain his or her particular need(s). I then advise the customer if I will be able to satisfy that need based upon the information that I have been given. Then, we fill out contracts and I receive a down payment. On the day of the event, I arrive early and make contact with the customer to ensure there are no changes to the original plan. Once the event is over, I receive the rest of my payment in full, thank the customer, and remind them to call on me and/or recommend me to others, if they were satisfied with my performance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been performing standup comedy basically since I was old enough to talk and I have been acting about as long. I have been singing and playing musical instruments since the age of about 7 or 8. I have been playing drums on a professional level for over 30 years and I have a degree in Music Education. I have also performed professionally with the Army National Guard Band, of which I was a member for over 24 years.
