Welcome, and thank you for stopping by. I’m an experienced, professional wedding officiant with 13 years in business and over 500 ceremonies officiated. I serve couples of all backgrounds with ceremonies that reflect who you are and the love you share.
I officiate:

Every ceremony can be customized, and you’ll have the opportunity to review and approve your script, with optional vow-writing assistance and rehearsals. I also offer day-of coordination for smaller weddings at private residences, venues, and parks.
Please note: I no longer officiate sunrise ceremonies in Shenandoah National Park or in correctional facilities.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Diane! From the very beginning, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly professional, organized, responsive, and reliable. When Diane says she is going to do something, she follows through, and that kind of dependability is priceless when planning a wedding! She was so helpful throughout the entire process, always quick to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure we felt comfortable and prepared. Our rehearsal went so smoothly because of her. She took charge in the best way possible, making sure everyone knew exactly what they needed to do while keeping everything relaxed and enjoyable. But what truly sets Diane apart is how much she genuinely cares about the couples she works with. She took the time to get to know Brett and me, learn about our relationship, and understand our story. Because of that, our ceremony felt so incredibly personal, meaningful, and completely us. Even after our wedding, we are STILL hearing from family and friends about how absolutely beautiful our ceremony was, and we owe so much of that to Diane. And her kindness and helpfulness don't just end when the wedding is over! I actually reached out to her after our wedding with a question about our marriage license, and just as she had throughout the entire planning process, she responded almost immediately and was so helpful. It really speaks volumes about the kind of person she is and how much she genuinely cares about her couples, even after their big day has come and gone. We reached out to Reverend Diane VERY last minute and were accommodated so quickly! She responded so fast and really helped ease my mind about our chosen venue (we'd never been to the area). Her flexibility with payment methods and knowledge of both the area and types and requirements of ceremonies were all amazing and she constantly offered us different options and the ability to tweak our ceremony however we wanted (or add whatever we wanted!). The day of the ceremony ended up being an extremely cold and windy day, but that didn't take away from the location or the ceremony at all and in fact made for a even more beautiful memories, made even moreso by Reverend Diane's kind words and attentive manner. It really felt like we had known her forever, and we could feel her joy even though the day of the ceremony was the first time we met! I would choose Reverend Diane for absolutely any ceremony.

Diane gave us such an incredible and intimate ceremony. She is so kind and made us feel comfortable, answering any questions we could have had along the way. When I first contacted her she wanted to know our story and who we are and it made the ceremony feel even more special knowing that she had a glimpse. The marriage license was delivered promptly to the county and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We would highly recommend Diane! :)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard pricing system. Most weddings start at $350.00 to $450.00. Rehearsals starts $100.00-$200.00 depending on venue location and size of wedding party. Elopements (couple only) and small elopement weddings (less than 10 guests) start at $150.00-$300.00 depending on venue location and length of ceremony. Mileage is charged at the federal mileage rate per mile roundtrip to the venue and is usually included in above listed fees.
I am providing customized and personalized ceremonies at this rate. The rate includes an in person meeting (or video chat if couple’s live out of the area) with the couple for us to get to know one another which makes for a more intimate ceremony. I do my best to work with the couple's budget. If you do not want a customized and personalized ceremony please inquire about my fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually have a telephone consultation with the couple that is complementary. Once the couple hires me and retains the date and time with a non-refundable deposit, I go to work for them. We usually set up an in person meeting over coffee and tea (wedding consultation) where I review necessary paperwork and obtain the details of the wedding, and assist the couple in building their ceremony. Most importantly, this is the couple's and my opportunity to get to know one another so that the day of the ceremony there is already a bond established between us. If I am requested to attend or conduct the rehearsal this gives us another opportunity to develop a closer relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to be a clergy in good standing with my faith community I must complete continuing education hours and adhere to a professional code of conduct. My clergy in good standing credentials are renewed yearly.
