Did a great job on my microwave repair. Arrived same day I called, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it on the spot. The repair was 300 less than the new microwave I had on order. I recommend this company.After the 5 star review I posted last year, I used NovaApplianceRepair again, but the second use was very disappointing. Basically, I was overcharged by at least 70.00. He did not honor the original quote (which was only 2 weeks old), but instead offered one questionable excuse after another. I would not be so harsh if he had at least told me that he was increasing the charge and given me the choice to not complete the repair. Finally, when I questioned him, and showed him that the part was available for less than he claimed, he went ballistic - very unprofessional and not someone I'd invite into my home again. If you do use him, challenge him to honor his quotes (after you've already paid for the diagnosis).

Gary and his helper came to our house 2 weeks ago to look at our dishwasher which was leaking. I felt they were very thorough in their work and they removed the front bottombplate on the dishwasher and showed me where the leak was coming from, so I felt assured that was the issue. They replaced the part and didn't find any other issues besides a gasket around the dishwasher that they replaced as well. Within a day or two my dishwasher was leaking again and they came back out and found another issue and in order to fix the issue they would have to remove the inner part of the dishwasher door and with parts and labor it just didn't seem to make much sense to do it, it would be better to just get a new dishwasher. If he had found this problem initially with the other leak then I would have just said forget it and we're going to get a new dishwasher, but $338.89 later we found a second issue that now does not seem warranted to get fixed so now we're going to have to buy a new dishwasher. We are not happy having to spend this money and feel like this problem should have been noticed prior to fixing the initial leak.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Gary and NOVA Appliance Repairs. He really helped us in a bind yesterday. We purchased a washer and dryer which was installed but we didn't realize until the units were delivered that the old drain pain wouldn't fit the new unit (stackable set). After calling a few local companies we couldn't find anyone who would be able to install the new drain pain because a crew of two is needed to move the stackable units. Gary was able to swing by same day and purchase the right drain pain and have the drain pan installed! This was a big deal for us because we live across the country and our house is rented to lovely tenants, so wanted to ensure the tenants were happy. We received glowing reviews from the tenants right afterward. Gary also called me while he was still parked in front of our house, to update me on the situation. A huge thank you to Gary and NOVA Appliance Repairs!
