I am absolutely happy this gentleman came to me for my much needed services. I have a house on two acres and a good bit of lawn and landscaping. Daric gave me a very fair quote for the work and started right away. My mulch beds look amazing again and better than the day I bought my property. The lawn looks like it definitely got some much needed tender care. I was so impressed I wanted to set up a yearly contract with his business to not loose this quality of work. If I were you I would immediately try to get on his schedule before he gets too full up. You will not be disappointed at all. Thanks so much for the help Daric.Jan 30, 2020

TBF, I didn’t officially hire ... (would never hire). I needed a quote just a quote.. for the removal and replacement of five dead pine trees. Mentioned in the project description that we can do this remotely because, due to the pandemic, we probably should not meet. They sent messages every day to say they will come tomorrow. Didn’t care. Wasn’t a rush job. And like I said, I didn’t need to be there for them to see the place and give a quote. Finally, got message today saying they were close and to please confirm I was there or else they would leave the area. What? At that point, I decided to go with someone else. While I originally didn’t mind the daily excuses, this message was the last straw. I got three other quotes from other companies and didn’t need to meet. Not brain surgery. I tried to remove this review after I got a disgruntled call from the company and realized this guy just didn’t get it... (I just wanted a quote, dude, the dead trees are super easy to identify, we could have talked more and meet had I picked your company)... and because, to be fair, I did not officially hire them, but Thumbtack doesn’t allow removal... so I edited the review to reflect the entirety of what happened.Mar 27, 2020VerifiedCraigie’s Landscape Solutions LLC's reply
Miguel, We're sorry to hear that you weren't pleased with our interaction over email. Please understand that it is standard practice for our company to meet with the homeowner prior to doing work. When you did not return our voicemail asking you to confirm you would be there we didn't feel comfortable showing up and walking your property without you acknowledging we would be there at that time. This is a time of uncertainty for everyone and we do respect social distancing and staying at least 6 feet from customers but we pride ourselves on the relationship we build with others and that includes meeting with the customer before we begin work.

Had Daric and his crew come out do fall maintenance, aerated and over seeded. By far the best job we have seen to our yard. They actually took time to aerate and didn’t rush like other companies. Seeds took and the lawn looked better within weeks... even better is Daric called to follow up a few days later to just ensure we were satisfied... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Feb 9, 2020
Craigie’s Lawn Care Services was PERFECT. The estimate was actually lower than I expected to pay. The service was above par for what I paid. The workers were VERY professional and on time. Craigie and his crew moved 104 bags of leaves and small brush before I could finish my second cup of coffee! I highly recommend using them.Feb 12, 2020
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The more complex the project the better ability I have to offer a discount on some of the pricing due to the cost. After our meeting I will put together an estimate for your property that you will be emailed and again, we are able to make adjustments and have discussions regarding that. Once we have a set agreement I present a contract to my customer that will break down what the scope of work is, this also includes phones with description of work for that area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love to meet face to face at the property. This gives me the chance to see the size and scope of work that needs to be done which gives me the ability to give you a best dollar quote rather then shooting in the dark from google earth or something else. I like to understand their wishes and visions and then combine them all together into a finished plan. I also like to have a understanding of what your budget for the project is, I don't do this to blow you away with a price. With that in mind depending on the size I also offer to do the work in waves so that you have everything completed that you visioned.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?No "landscaping" education at this point. I bring real world jobs and experience that I grew up doing from the time I was a boy.
