Craigie’s landscaping did a phenomenal job on our patio. Every day the company was right on time when they said they would be, always showed up when they said they would, and was overall just so reliable. What you expect out of a company and a project is exactly what you get from using Craigie’s landscape solutions. Craigie’s was honest, hardworking and found positive solutions to problems. The job was not complete until Mr. Craigie himself is satisfied with the job. He treated our patio as if it would be at his own home, and kept those high expectations for our patio. We have nothing but positive things to say about Craigie Landscaping. Daric was super responsive, knowledgeable, and very affordable! He came in within our budget and agreed to take on our smaller project without qualms (most companies refused citing our request was too small). After having received 3 estimates from different companies, I chose Craigie's because of their responsiveness, honesty, knowledge, and reasonable prices. I hired them to create new flower beds, till ivy, plant shrubs and ornamental trees, and cut down overgrowth and an old tree for our new property in Falls Church. Daric is meticulous, thorough, and hard working, laying down mulch with his bare hands to make sure it was even. He was happy to accomodate a few last-minute changes to the landscapingdesign, including picking up extra trees and shrubs at the local nursery. His business is family-run, and he and his wife were responsive to my numerous questions regarding which trees and shrubs to plant. I plan to use them again for flower bed and yard maintenance, and highly recommend them for any landscaping needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The more complex the project the better ability I have to offer a discount on some of the pricing due to the cost. After our meeting I will put together an estimate for your property that you will be emailed and again, we are able to make adjustments and have discussions regarding that. Once we have a set agreement I present a contract to my customer that will break down what the scope of work is, this also includes phones with description of work for that area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet face to face at the property. This gives me the chance to see the size and scope of work that needs to be done which gives me the ability to give you a best dollar quote rather then shooting in the dark from google earth or something else.
I like to understand their wishes and visions and then combine them all together into a finished plan. I also like to have a understanding of what your budget for the project is, I don't do this to blow you away with a price. With that in mind depending on the size I also offer to do the work in waves so that you have everything completed that you visioned.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No "landscaping" education at this point. I bring real world jobs and experience that I grew up doing from the time I was a boy.
