I have a BA in Mathematics from Princeton University, and have recent experience tutoring students in several math subjects. I also have a large body of on-the-job training, particularly in computer-related subjects, that I have received during my Information Technology career.

I started out as a computer class volunteer for my local library. At the same time, I was considering starting my own business. These interests merged into pcLearning4U.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of clients.
For math tutoring, I've worked with students ranging from middle school to middle age, in subjects such as algebra, I've also helped students prepare for the math portions of entrance exams such as the SAT, ACT, and ASVAB military test.
For computer training, I've worked with clients who want to improve their Windows-based skills, such as in MS-Office applications. These people have ranged from college students to senior citizens to everyone in between.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I worked with a high school student who needed help preparing for the SAT Math exam. He was very satisfied and subsequently hired me to help him prepare for the ACT Math exam. Total project time was about 10 hours.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Talk to the provider on the phone. While I am a firm believer in all modern technology, nothing beats direct communication!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Specifically for pcLearning4U: What are my needs? What are your rates? What math subjects do you tutor? What computer subjects do you teach? What is your experience in the subject(s) I need help with?
