FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the event type, duration, location, guest count and production needs. DJ packages can include professional sound, MC support, dance-floor lighting and customized music planning, with optional enhancements such as uplighting, moving-head lighting, special effects and additional sound coverage. For weddings and larger events, I prefer to learn a little about your celebration first so I can recommend the right setup rather than quoting a one-size-fits-all package. Contact me with your event date, venue, approximate guest count and desired hours, and I’ll provide a clear customized quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a brief consultation to learn about your event, venue, guest count, timeline, music preferences and overall vision. From there, I recommend the appropriate DJ, sound and lighting setup and provide a clear proposal based on the services you need. Once the event is booked, we continue planning the important details — introductions, special dances, announcements, must-play songs, do-not-play songs and the overall musical direction. As the event approaches, I review the timeline and coordinate any important details with you and, when appropriate, your planner or venue. On event day, I arrive with enough time for setup and sound checks so everything is ready before your guests arrive. My goal is to make the planning process easy while creating a smooth, personalized experience from the first conversation through the final song.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background combines technology, music and creative production. I have a strong foundation in IT and have applied that technical mindset to professional DJing, sound, lighting, photography and videography. Much of my DJ development has been hands-on, supported by professional training, courses, mentoring and years of practice with mixing, music programming, live sound and event production. That combination of technical knowledge and creativity helps me approach events with both precision and flexibility — from music preparation and sound setup to lighting, timing and live execution.
