Anthony did a great job putting my son’s closet back together after a vendor did not complete the work. He reinstalled the molding, the dowel, the bracket, the shelves with supports, the baseboard, the shoe molding, the latch for the top of the door, and the dummy knobs. He caulked his work afterwards, and we’re really relieved to have a functioning closet again. Anthony has a kind and most professional demeanor. It distinguishes him from other contractors. You can tell he is concerned about the satisfaction and value you receive from his work. He’s very respectable towards the household and flexible with scheduling.

Buyer beware: This pro engages in off-platform bait-and-switch tactics. We explicitly agreed via the Thumbtack app on a fixed price of $400 for both labor and materials for a porch repair. He accepted the job with no questions asked. However, once he took the conversation to text messages, his behavior completely changed. He scheduled a walkthrough for the day before the job to 'see what supplies he needed,' but when I reached out to lock in an arrival time, he completely ignored my schedule. Instead, he tried to rewrite our deal, claiming he was coming out to give me a 'new quote for materials.' When I firmly reminded him of our agreed-upon $400 total, he played dumb and asked if the price was 'just for labor.' As soon as I stood my ground and held him to the original platform agreement, he ghosted me completely. He claims on his profile to take pride in communication, but he is highly unprofessional, disorganized, and completely disrespectful of a homeowner's time. He locks you in with a low bid on the app just to get your contact info, then tries to manipulate the price upward via text. Avoid this contractor if you want someone honest who honors their word.
