- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary depending on the type of service, from $100 for simple civil ceremonies, elopements, and Zoom ceremonies to $300 for large weddings and rehearsals. There is an additional charge for travel more than 30 miles.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first have a no obligation online meet and greet. If the couple would like to move forward I'll send them a contract via DocuSign. I work with the couple to craft their ceremony. We spend multiple online sessions (usually 3) where I walk them through the different components of a ceremony and we decide on tone, content, and flow. The ceremony ends up being a reflection of them as a couple and as individuals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background makes me uniquely qualified as an officiant. I was in executive management so I can handle people, situations, and presentations well. I am well aware of how individual parts contribute and coordinate with a larger goal (like a wedding). While my spiritual journey has led me to become an ordained non-denominational minister, I was also very active in a traditional church as a lector and Eucharistic minister for over a dozen years. I've even done some theater!
