I had danced quite a bit before I came to take classes with Phillip. I have never felt as comfortable learning new steps or felt as good doing steps I had already known, before these classes. I highly recommend Phillip Fusaro if you are looking for a fun and quality dance experienceSep 15, 2018
If you want to learn to dance and want to enjoy the experience of learning to dance then Phillip Fusaro is the instructor you want to seek out. There is an understamding of the movement of the body during dance that he shares with you. There is a patience and gentleness that is always present with a touch of humor and mischief. You will experience the joy of dance with Phillip.Jul 24, 2018
My boyfriend and I took our first dance lesson with Phillip, and we cannot wait to schedule our next lesson!! Phillip was very accommodating, understanding, and explained every step of every dance very well! Both of us have two left feet, but by the end of the lesson we were sailing across the dance floor!Jul 21, 2018
Mr. Fusaro is an amazing dance instructor that is well above any other instructor that I have ever worked with. Many people work for many years to get to the level of skill he has attained in instructing.Jul 20, 2018
Phillip is a very professional instructor while still being very friendly and gracious of mistakes. He is funny and a very talented dancer. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for dance instructions.Jul 20, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For Partnership dance lessons I charge $80/hour (1 lesson). Small discounts are applied bigger contracts of 15 or 20 lessons. Larger discounts are applied, if you purchase a monthly subscription membership. If you refer a new student, who purchases a 5 lesson contract, you will receive an hour lesson for only $25. The only fee I will charge is in the event of a lesson canceled within 24 hours of the appointment ($36, 45% of the lesson), or for a missed appointment ($80, full percentage of the lesson).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?New clients typically have questions, I make sure I know as much about their needs and desires for dance, before giving my professional recommendation. This is, usually, no more than a ten minute process, I will ask many questions about their goals and desires. After scheduling a session, I will call or email a day before, at the customers request, to confirm the session. On the first lesson, I will introduce the student to several basic dance steps, from various styles. This allows me to learn more about the the student's abilities, and unique learning style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have five years of experience and professional training, teaching partnership dance. This training includes Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Club dances. My professional training spans 8 years, which includes coaching with professionals including Dan Calloway, Pete Godfrey, Adam Mehring, Brian Le, Jenna Marie, and other professional coaches and instructors in over 20 styles of dance.
