FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing model is based off a standard hourly rate. I will often give flat rate prices for new clients as an introductory pricing, or as a project-based flat rate for returning clients that I'm comfortable with how they work in the studio and can reasonably estimate a given projects level of effort and costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly I have a discussion with the client to get an understanding of what it is they are trying to achieve. What sort of sound, look, and feelings are they going for? If it's a genre that is out of my normal recreational listening repertoire, I'll ask if they have any artists or styles that they would like to emulate so I can critically listen in order to formulate a production plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
