FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically start by doing a site visit. All visits and basic consultation are free of charge. This way our estimates are accurate and are based purely on the clients needs; not on guess work. Even after the client signs the contract, we have a clause in our contract where the client is allowed change the scope of work. This ensures that client is satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master of Architecture for Hampton University Licensed Contractor US Green Building Counsel LEED-GA
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started this business because when I was working for an architecture firm, I noticed that in typical project there were 3 major visions for one project: The owners vision, the architects vision, and the contractors vision. While the saying "two heads are better then one" might be true for most situations, in construction it only blurs the over vision of what the client wants. So at HMP Construction, we have moved design and construction into one roof so we can focus on the clients needs and vision.
