It is not always a great idea to get references because everyone's needs are different. while I may be the best thing that ever happened to someone that I am providing services for I may not be the best for you. Also communication is key to every relationship let your house cleaner know your likes as well as your dislikes this keeps a healthy balance in the relationship and no one is guessing.
