- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Will price match or assemble less than Wayfair, Amazon, Overstock, Walmart, Lowes, Target, Crate and Barrell, Home Depot, etc. No negotiating of prices here on Thumbtack. Final cost is determined after receiving make and model of item. Initial Thumbtack listed price is for items already in the room for assembly. If I arrive and the item is not in the room I will move but a fee is applied after (between $15-$150). Credit Card payments are 3.5 percent fee added to cover part of assembly service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers sends us an item number, link or photo with information of product. Where they need it built and when they prefer the project to be done. Customer gives address to confirm appointment. Customer pays after service is done. All Jobs are booked on a eta time frame, no exact times due to all unforeseen occurences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
17 years of assembly, maintenance, installation, repair and customer service and safety training. I am a national certified and trained furniture, bike, fitness equipment assembler and installer. 10 years of assembling and installing light fixtures such as ceiling fans and chandeliers at Lowe's.
