I can’t say enough great things about AJ’s Heating & Air Conditioning! They came out to our home in Manassas after dark in record cold temperatures to diagnose our heat pump issue, which meant a great deal to us. That level of responsiveness and dedication is rare. From the first message through the final repair, they were professional, prompt, and clear in their communication. They thoroughly diagnosed the system, ordered the needed circuit board, and even submitted the part to the manufacturer under warranty on our behalf — even though they didn’t originally install the system. Because of that, we didn’t have to pay anything for the part! That kind of integrity and customer care really stood out. The repair was completed efficiently and everything is now running exactly as it should. We’re very grateful and would absolutely recommend AJ’s to anyone in the Northern Virginia area!

I cannot recommend AJs Heating & Cooling highly enough. From start to finish, their team demonstrated professionalism, patience, and ultimately, an extraordinary commitment to customer satisfaction that truly sets them apart. The initial installation of our new unit was smooth and efficient. I had several, likely ridiculous, questions throughout the process, and every technician was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They didn’t just install a unit; they ensured I understood how it worked. A few days after the install, the unit began malfunctioning. This is where AJs truly shined. They were on the scene quickly and worked diligently to diagnose the complex problem, refusing to give up until they found the root cause. They ultimately discovered the issue was a manufacturer defect within the brand-new unit itself. The standard solution would have been to wait weeks for a replacement part, which asks decided was simply not okay given the summer heat. They were very concerned for me and the comfort of my pets. Without any prompting from me, AJs took the initiative, dealing directly with the manufacturer and successfully negotiating a full, no-cost replacement and reinstallation of an entirely new unit. This level of advocacy for a customer is unheard of. They prioritized our comfort and safety over the easier, cheaper solution for them. If you are looking for an HVAC company that provides high-quality installation, diligent troubleshooting, and will stand by you when problems arise—even when those problems are due to the manufacturer—look no further than AJs Heating & Cooling. Santo and Cesar from AJ’s installed my new furnace. They showed up right on time, got straight to work, and completed the installation with a high level of professionalism. What really stood out was how thorough they were — not only did they make sure everything was working perfectly, but they also took the time to walk me through what they had done and recommendations on how I can have the equipment last!
