Movers came prepared and were a huge help. I had them move the larger, heavier, and bulkier pieces of furniture. They had their own pads and plastic wrap and loaded and unloaded efficiently.

The experience with quick reaction movers overall was great. The initial phone with the call with the owner to get everything set up was very professional and quick. Any changes made happened promptly.
The two movers that arrived were professional, friendly and communicated well. Just a few small things that would have made the experience a little smoother such as asking me (or my husband) before disassembling a prized piece of of bedroom furniture that wasn’t suppose to be disassembled. I didn’t notice it until after the movers left. Additionally, the payment process at the end was not as smooth. Having two or three payment options such as payment through the thumbtack app or venmo (much like other vendors on thumbtack) would have been helpful and quicker. The movers were waiting around for an extra 15 minutes trying to figure out the payment situation. When I mentioned it to the two movers they had no idea what thumbtack was or that the business was even on thumbtack to provide those services.

As for the payment process—you’re absolutely right. Right now we’re set up for cash, check, or major credit cards, but we're actively working to add more flexible payment options like Venmo and Zelle. Your experience highlighted exactly why that's important, and I’ll also make sure the team is better briefed on the platforms we’re listed on, including Thumbtack.
