I was really nervous and a bit hesitant when looking into working with a personal trainer. I was afraid things would be awkward or incredibly difficult. I initially committed to working out with a trainer for 3 months…and then I met Sarah and 3 months turned into 6 more months. Needless to say, I truly enjoyed working with her. She challenged me in different ways (I ran my first 5k with her…I hated running prior to this lol) and she motivated me to keep pushing. I looked forward to our weekly sessions. I learned a lot in the past 9 months with her and can confidently say she knows what she’s doing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
6 and 12-month plans are discounted.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Consult to go over training process, goals and lifestyle questionnaire. This allows us to see if we are a good match. We also determine best frequency training in order to reach those goals. Game plan is everything! 2. SL Performance creates individualized programming to help you reach your specified goals. 3. Feedback throughout each session is used to adjust at-home habits as well as in-session programming. This is a team effort.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received my BFA in Dance Performance and BS in Kinesiology. I'm a certified Personal Trainer with a Corrective Exercise and Nutrition Specialization from the leading company in the fitness world, National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am Pilates Mat I/II certified through Balanced Body. I am also First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
