Introduction: My passion for photography started in high school and continues to be an exciting journey. Its an amazing experience to capture moments, and share them, and save them, and be able to go back later and see the photos again. Memories are special and when someone close to you is lost those memories become precious. As a mother, I love capturing images of my two little ones, daughter Sarah and son Tyler. I would have never thought that i would love being a mother as much as i do! Seeing the world through their eyes has made me enjoy every moment. And, they are a handful. There was a misunderstanding on my end (I sincerely apologize for that). She reached out and was extremely professional. I wasn't able to work with her due to COVID severely altering our wedding plans. If she is available for when we do hold our wedding, I would like to work with her. I highly suggest working with her just based on our experience.

Kirsten was wonderful to work with as a wedding photographer. My original wedding photographer cancelled a month before my wedding and Kirsten came to our rescue. She was very professional and immediately began talking details and figuring out exactly what I wanted. She is quick, precise, and organized. She was able to get ALL of our family/wedding party photographs taken before the wedding (our request) and we were able to completely relax after the ceremony and spend time with family and friends. Most importantly, she is personable and as someone who feels awkward having pictures taken, she made me feel completely at ease and we had so much fun taking pictures which made for genuine smiles and laughs. I highly recommend Kirsten based off of the quality of her photos, her professionalism, and easygoing and fun personality. Thanks Kirsten!!

I worked with Kristen for personal family photos and loved the outcome. I was then able to hire her to photograph a work function and then again to capture images on a renovation project. She did a great job and the photos turned out beautifully.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have custom pricing per each event. I allow payment plans. I also give discounts for military and police. Kirstenguthriephotography.com/packages
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk on phone about event. If we can meet in person before the event i try to accomplish that. We complete a contract and setup payment method. Then we speak about 2 weeks out from event to finalize details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self taught since 2015. I do attend training sessions and events for photography.
