Introduction: Merry Bee Photo Company got its start when Bee had an amazing idea and Marion had some photo know-how. Ever since, they've been working hard to improve their processes, build a stellar props collection, and add a few fancy-pants gadgets here and there. The result is a fun experience, high-quality photos, and printed strips while you wait. Merry Bee Photo Company's booth is open-concept, which means that your guests can witness the fun. (Open-concept means more people can fit, too!) The booth is equipped with a high-resolution DSLR camera, professional lighting, an LCD monitor that displays your pictures as they are taken, a high-speed printer for laminated prints while you wait, and a backdrop that can be customized just about any way you'd like. Since Bee is a vintage lover and Marion is a photo geek, they also offer an optional add-on for your guests to receive Polaroids (shaking it is strongly encouraged). The best part? Marion and Bee personally run every booth, so you are guaranteed a fun time and smooth sailing! We absolutely love being part of your event - that's part of why we personally run every booth instead of sending an employee. From laughing with you as you pick out your props to seeing the excitement on your face when your prints are ready, we always have a blast helping you make memories! On top of that, we're really proud of our setup (especially the lighting!) and the quality of our images. Since we have a photography background, we know how to take a flattering portrait, even in a photo booth environment. Not only will you have a great time, but you'll look great, too!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We currently offer two packages, which you can view on our website. If our packages do not fit with your event, don't worry! We can write a custom quote for you.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We like to consult with our new clients (via phone, email, or in-person when applicable) to get an idea of what their event will be like. This consultation is where we would discuss all the details of your event - from what time we should arrive to what the backdrop and props should be like. This is your chance to tell us exactly what type of experience you want for your event guests! Once we've finalized the details, we require a $50 deposit to reserve the date. The deposit is non-refundable, but it is also applied towards the balance of the package you purchase.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Marion has a BFA in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University, and Bee is an experienced online business owner with a firm background in photographing her products and editing final images.
