Being a member of the Association of Nutrition and Foodserice Professionals, and ServSafe requires me to stay up on the latest developments in my field.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a passion for helping people and that is why I am in this line of work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
One must hire a provider that has great interpersonal and communication skills in addition to having culinary, hospitality and nutritional credentials/experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The hospitality/foodservice industry isn't all fun and games. The industry requires the latest training in food safety and sanitation practices, nutrition, business management and culinary. While this industry and be fun and exciting it also requires hard work and dedication.
