We hired Rodney from AmeriCurrent to run all new electrical through an older farmhouse that we are remodeling down to the studs. He has done everything from installing a brand new panel box to screwing in the lightbulbs on the fixtures after hanging them. It has been a challenging (but rewarding) project, thankfully Rodney is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Photos to follow soon!!

Seemed like a nice guy but I would not recommend this electrician. He advised me that it was fine to put a microwave on the same circuit as other lighting in the house, and I trusted his judgment. After he left to get materials, I did my own research and learned that this is unsafe—microwaves should have their own dedicated circuit to prevent potential fire hazards. When he returned, I asked if he could put the microwave on its own circuit, and he said it was “impossible” due to the location of my panel. I offered to pay him for his time and stated I would get other opinions. He then claimed his service fee was $200, despite initially being told estimates were free, and said he had already invoiced me $250 for the full job, including $50 for materials. So he wanted the full $250. When he left, I checked the receipt and the materials were only $20. Beyond the billing issues, his electrical advice was unsafe. This experience showed a lack of knowledge and professionalism. I would not trust him with electrical work, as it could be dangerous.
