Ivy is a multi-talented singer and performer. She understands the mechanics of singing and is a consummate performer of Broadway, Classical, rock, and other vocal genres. She has a strong theatrical background, having performed in theater productions. She is also comfortable as a soloist and is performing with a Christian rock band as lead soloist. The lesson is structured around vocal exercises to assist with improving vocal technique. She is also very knowledgable about the different voice types and styles of music. Overall, I am very happy with the service she provides. She is enthusiastic, and fun to work with. I think it would be nice if she could add a small recording studio so students could listen to their progress or record a song of choice

My daughter has been taking voice lessons from Ivy for the past 2 years and loves the fact that Ivy works with her on her music and her songs rather than making her sing songs she doesn't enjoy!!! Ivy is very flexible, supportive and a talented teacher who is good at relating to her students!

Ivy is helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. On more then one occasion she has worked my son into her schedule when he needed extra preparation for auditions. Her vocal training helps ensure that my son doesn't damage his voice as he grows into his adult vocal range.
