Special is for dates available in 2024! My wedding Event rates can be customized but are estimated at $200 to $300 an hour per event. You don't have to worry, we will take time to scope out our landscape, find the best scenery, and will have some great fun! I love to talk, laugh and do some fun interacting games to get some great candid moments. On many occasions, I have people posing for me by the end of the hour they get that comfortable. I am here to photograph you in the best way I can with no judgment, just guiding you to the best portrait that I can give! Had a great time with Mary at our engagement shoot in Shenandoah. She was very helpful and accommodating from the start while trying to plan our trip (we were from out of state). Day of instructions were very informative and easy to follow. She was there before us ready to go on time and had great energy throughout the shoot. I was planning a proposal on my trip to Shenandoah National Park and needed to find someone who knew the area well and could help find the perfect spot. Luckily, I was able to find Mary and she knocked it out of the park! Mary was very knowledgeable about where the best spot would be and was very accommodating to the time and dates I proposed. She was able to capture some really great shots and made the whole experience wonderful. We even had the final pictures within a day and they turned out awesome! Would highly recommend Mary for any photography needs!!

We really enjoyed working with Mary for some sunset engagement photos over looking the National park! It was some of the coldest, windiest weather we have experienced in the park but Mary kept us laughing and moving— you honestly can’t tell how cold it is in our photos. She helps us prepare for the day, coordinated around bad weather, and took a lot of time to answer our questions. We love the finished project and appreciated her patience as we navigated wind, cold, and a dog who loved the deer running by.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am truly giving the client the best of the best! My session portrait sessions start at $300. Your photos will be sent to a beautiful online photo gallery where you will have access to purchase prints and download your high-resolution digital photos. I give a generous amount of edited photos in a beautiful online gallery. Galleries are approx. 50+ edited images to view and download. I also offer event photography. My services are listed under Events, all packages include a gallery to view, share and purchase digitals, prints as well as packages. **Images that I photograph may be used for future ads or marketing only for my business pages. I do not sell my images.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will answer and inform client on any questions. I will in detail, go through a typical session. We will book at date and agree on a location. Client will hold date with a 25% deposit with sent check or through PayPal. This reserves their time and mine as a commitment. I will send an email on questions that I have to customize the session. I will be in contact until we meet for the session and I am available at anytime with more questions or details needed by email or text. A photo contract will be sent to view and sign.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been personally doing photography for 10 years, professionally for 6 years. I am the Newborn Photographer at Sentara Hospital. I am constantly learning new techniques, taking photography classes and involved in many photographer forums and groups. I am a freelance photographer for TSS Sports photography. I am also constantly following, and continuing education in new techniques from other pro photographers. I carry 2 to 3 different camera lenses on me at each shoot, high quality photos!
