What I Offer:
Remote Spiritual Counseling for those feeling weary and burdened (Matthew 11:28-30).
All Christian denominations
Adult Men & Women
Ages: 23 - 65+
Who’s It For:
Anyone who wants to move beyond simply knowing about God and into a life more fully shaped by His presence despite the burdens and weariness of daily life.
Spiritual direction can be especially meaningful for pastors, ministry leaders, business professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, caregivers, and anyone walking through seasons of transition, burnout, vocational discernment, grief, or a longing for a deeper life with God.
Spiritual direction is an intentional conversation that makes room to notice and respond to God’s presence and activity in everyday life. It is a practice of soulcare and discipleship that helps people slow down, listen deeply, discern Jesus’s invitations, and grow in a more honest and life-giving relationship with Christ.
I am not a traditional Counselor:
Unlike counseling, which often focuses on healing the past, or coaching, which is usually centered on reaching future goals, spiritual direction asks a different question: Where is God at work in your life, and how are you being invited to respond? While there is some overlap of the two spiritual direction is less about giving answers and more about helping people grow in awareness, discernment, and faithful participation in God’s transforming work despite the burdens and challenges of life.
Who Am I?
For more than thirty years, I served in the business world, primarily in human resources, leadership, and talent development, before transitioning into ministry and becoming a certified spiritual director. I also worked as a Spiritual Director in Residence for BLVD Presbyterian Church in Scotts Addition in the city of Richmond, VA. That background gives me a deep understanding of both the pressures of professional life, ministry life and the deeper questions that often rise beneath success, responsibility, and leadership. My desire is to walk alongside others with humility, attentive listening, and compassionate presence, creating a safe space where people can encounter God’s grace, discern His leading, and experience the kind of lasting transformation that comes through a life of faithful discipleship.
If you are curious about spiritual direction or wondering whether it might be a good fit for you, I would be glad to connect. I invite you to explore spiritual direction or schedule a free 30 minute conversation to learn more about how this practice can support your discipleship of Jesus.
