FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my business comes from clients that use my services on a schedule. Two of my clients have used my service for over 6 yrs. and one is going on their second year. I have had many long term clients over the past 6 yrs. that I have been in business. I have also cooked short term for new Mothers, people who have fallen ill, elderly couples who could no longer cook, but did not want to move to assisted living, and as a special gift. I have several repeat customers that I do dinner parties for. I have provided cooking lessons for The Fresh Market grocery store for 2 yrs. and love providing classes in homes for a "girls night in" or couples party.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To be very clear on what they want their nutrition requirements to be, if any. What is their main objective of hiring a personal chef (to follow a diet, to save time, to have home cooked, non-processed meals). Look at their current spending restaurant meals and grocery foods. Look at the amount of waste from buying foods, but not cooking them and having the throw them away. If you are finding that you are not eating right, are spending a lot of money eating restaurant foods, are having trouble with portion control, or are throwing food away, you would benefit greatly from a personal chef!
